Man Utd won’t regret signing Bruno Fernandes says fan
Manchester United and Sporting Lisbon have already agreed the main terms of any Bruno Fernandes transfer deal, according to reports. The Portugal international is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s top target for the winter, having accepted James Maddison and Jack Grealish will stay at Leicester and Aston Villa.
Manchester United’s pursuit of a new playmaker has forced them into going for Fernandes, who has scored 15 goals across all competitions for Sporting Lisbon this season.
Maddison and Grealish were originally the Red Devils’ preferred playmaker targets but both players will be staying at Leicester and Aston Villa until the summer.
United are understood to be lining up a £65million bid in order to bring Fernandes to the Premier League.
And Portuguese newspaper Record say that the main terms of any transfer deal have already been negotiated between the two sides.
That may mean that United have agreed to pay Sporting what they want.
And there’s a confidence growing inside Old Trafford that the 25-year-old will sign on the dotted line before the end of the month.

But the north London giants are hoping to sign Benfica star Gedson Fernandes instead this month.
United have seen their current playmakers struggle for form this season.
Jesse Lingard has toiled despite Solskjaer giving him a final chance back in the summer, with the England international yet to score or assist in the Premier League this season.
There’s a belief inside United that he could be on the move, too, particularly after his decision to link up with super-agent Mino Raiola.
