Bruno Fernandes: Pundits discuss Manchester United deal
Bruno Fernandes to Manchester United remains a strong possibility this month. And reports say that Sporting Lisbon have settled on Marcos Rojo being involved, despite it initially being claimed they’d turned the Argentina international down.
Fernandes has soared to the top of Manchester United’s list of transfer targets as they look to add more creativity to their squad.
The Red Devils had initially decided to postpone any pursuit of a new playmaker until the end of the season amid interest in Leicester’s James Maddison and Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish.
However, with Sporting looking to cash in on Fernandes, United have now decided to act.
They’ve spent the last few days in negotiations with the Primeira Liga giants in the hope they can reach a breakthrough.
Previously it has been reported that Sporting don’t want Rojo in the operation.
But Portuguese newspaper O Jogo claim that the United star IS wanted by Sporting after all.
