Man Utd: Solskjaer has been 'unbelievable' says Daniel James
Manchester United fans have been warned that if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is sacked, the club will likely bring someone in and throw money at him for a short-term fix, before changing manager again in the summer. The Norwegian is under intense pressure at Old Trafford.
United fans are disgruntled by the fact the club is yet to make a single signing during January.
A deal for Bruno Fernandes is believed to be close, with the Red Devils set to fork out £60million for the midfielder.
That’s set to be their first foray into the January transfer market, having missed out on top target Erling Braut Haaland.
Fernandes’ agent was reported to be in Manchester on Friday to iron out the final details of a deal, which will be the first major step towards chaining United’s fortunes of late.

But former Chelsea striker Craig Burley warned on Friday that if Solskjaer goes, the hierarchy at the club would likely try to ‘throw’ money at the problem in January and make another change in the summer.
Speaking on ESPN FC, the former player explained why he has little faith in the United decision-makers.
“It wouldn’t surprise me if they bring someone in, throw a few quid at him to patch things up and then go again,” he said.
“Then they’ll probably fire him in the summer and go again.”

Burley then took aim at United vice-chairman Ed Woodward who, it was announced on Friday, made more money than any other executive in the Premier League.
The news will mean little to fans, however, as the pundit explained.
“Another thing that’s been reported is the salary of Ed Woodward, he’s the highest paid chief exec in the league, United fans don’t want to hear that,” he continued.

“The results, the performances and the general direction of the club have been well touted, we’ve talked about it a lot.
“There’s nothing to write home about, there’s no easy fix, there’ll probably be a win at the weekend, but then we’ll be back to talking about the same thing again.
“They’ve got some huge games coming up, but I feel like we’re repeating ourselves with Man Utd.”
