Man Utd: Erling Haaland move to club discussed by experts
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer lauded Paul Pogba to keep Mino Raiola sweet amid his desire to land Erling Haaland, reports say. The Red Devils manager is eyeing reinforcements when the transfer window reopens next month.
Manchester United boss Solskjaer recently hailed Pogba as the best all-round midfielder in world football.
"He can play anywhere, he can play the whole midfield, he is a box-to-box midfielder,” he said.
"He can drop deep, get it and play them long passes. He can get higher up and combine.
"It depends on the game. That's the beauty of having Paul because he is the best all-round midfielder in the world, he can do all the roles. It's great to have him back."
And French newspaper L’Equipe claim that the United manager praised Pogba as a way of keeping Raiola happy.
The super-agent represents Haaland, who is the club’s No 1 transfer target for the January window.
