Man Utd: Solskjaer discusses Chong’s contract offer
Manchester United star Angel Gomes has adopted the same transfer stance as Tahith Chong, according to reports. The duo are both open to leaving Old Trafford when the window reopens next month.
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been keen to stress how much he admires the duo, with Chong and Gomes being sporadic squad players this season.
But the Daily Mail say Gomes has copied his team-mate by adopting the same transfer stance.
The youngster is reportedly open to leaving Old Trafford and, with his contract up at the end of the campaign, that could happen.
Both Gomes and Chong are free to negotiate with foreign clubs from January 1 and are wanted by Barcelona and Juventus respectively.
And United, the report says, are fearful of losing the duo.

Solskjaer recently admitted Greenwood was becoming undroppable, saying: "He's making it hard for me to leave him out.
"I remember when I came to the club and I kept scoring a few goals and even though I felt I could have performed better, the manager's comments were 'it's hard to keep players who score out of the team'.
"It's very, very difficult now to put a team out there without having Mason in my mind."
Williams, meanwhile, has emerged as the player best-placed to oust Luke Shaw from the starting XI.
Speaking recently, Solskjaer updated fans on Chong and Gomes - and confirmed he wanted the duo to stay.
