It's claimed that Sancho is the club's No 1 target from players based abroad, with Solskjaer a huge admirer.
The United manager would, ideally, have brought the England international to Old Trafford when the transfer window was open in the summer.
But he was unable to convince the 19-year-old into jumping ship, particularly given the Red Devils' failure to qualify for the Champions League.
United ended up signing Daniel James from Swansea yet it appears that they remain particularly keen on a deal for Sancho, who would likely cost well over £100million.
Regarding Haaland, and the Red Devils remain keen.
Solskjaer has grown frustrated at Anthony Martial's failure to find a killer instinct and, consequently, wants to bring Haaland in.
It was recently claimed that the player had jetted into Manchester for talks with United, who want to beat the likes of RB Leipzig and Dortmund to the 19-year-old.
But Solskjaer denied this on Friday, saying: “I don’t think he’s en route here, to be fair – not through me, anyway.
“You know I can’t comment on other teams’ players. I’ve said that many a time.
“That’s just one of those things that in this job you get so many speculations all the time.”

When asked to elaborate on Haaland further, the United manager added: “Well, he is not coming to Manchester because… well, I know the boy and I know his friends and all this. He’s on a Christmas holiday."
Haaland and Sancho aren't the only players on United's radar this winter.
