Jadon Sancho 'will not leave club in January' says pundit
Manchester City are planning a £90million bid for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho and the Citizens think there are five factors that will give them an advantage over their rivals Manchester United and Liverpool. The 19-year-old left the Etihad to join Dortmund in 2017 because he felt it would give him a better chance of playing first-team football.
And during his spell in the Bundesliga the young winger has flourished and now has 25 goals and 35 assists in 77 appearances in all competitions for BVB.
However, this excellent form has attracted the attention of several top clubs across Europe including, United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Yet his former club City believe they are several factors which will give them an advantage in securing his signature.
First, City had inserted a sell on clause in the deal when they sold Sancho, which means they will get a 20 per cent discount on any agreed transfer fee.

Sancho’s expected exit from Dortmund has stemmed from reports the winger has become unsettled at the club.
He has been dropped twice by manager Lucien Favre and the club’s chief Michael Zorc has criticised the star insisting he needs to become more mature and improve his professional behaviour.
City have already sent scouts over to Germany to monitor Sancho’s progress and sources at the club told The Sun: “There are a number of factors in it but Raheem could be key to the whole thing next summer.
“There’s a worry Leroy might go but there would be a discount on Jadon due to his contract clauses.
“Raheem would love him back as the pair have a decent friendship. Jadon looks up to him and asks for advice.

“He has never slated the club or mentioned anything negative.”
City could be looking to bring in Sancho as a replacement for Leroy Sane.
The 23-year-old hasn’t played any part of City’s campaign this season after he suffered an injury during their Community Shield win over Liverpool.
Sane suffered damage to his anterior cruciate ligament but Guardiola thinks the player will return from his knee injury to play a part during this campaign.

"He's coming back before the end of the season,” said Guardiola.
“In January, December, February could be perfect. He should be perfect."
However, there is growing concern at the club that this could be Sane’s final season in Manchester, as he has yet to commit his future to the club by signing a new contract.
Bayern Munich wanted to sign the youngster in the summer, but the player’s injury delayed their plans.
But with Sane on the mend the German club are expected to return with another offer for the player, whose contract will run out in 2021, and in turn City could look to Sancho as his replacement.
