Chelsea: Lampard says team 'hasn't changed that much'
Chelsea are still likely to be without five players for their clash with Manchester United in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday evening.
N’Golo Kante and Antonio Rudiger are still out of action as both are suffering with groin problems.
Centre-back Andreas Christensen is still on the injury table with a hamstring strain while Ruben Loftus-Cheek has nearly recovered from his Achilles tendon tear.
The other doubt that Chelsea have is Ross Barkley, who picked up a knock in the Blues’ win over Newcastle 10 days ago.
Chelsea have picked up seven wins in a row, with their last loss coming against Premier League leaders Liverpool.
And while Lampard expects to make a few changes for United’s visit, he’s also taking the game seriously.
"I’ve got to be aware that we haven’t changed that much. This game may see opportunities for players who haven’t been getting minutes," he said.
"I suppose I wanted to play every game [when I was a player] but on this side you see things slightly differently. Demands on players are more.

“I won’t take this game lightly even if I make changes. If players do step out of the line-up with a view to the coming weeks it’s about the big picture.
"I understand how players are but those who start will give everything and those who don’t will support them hugely.”
Lampard also spoke about his side’s damaging defeat to United on the opening day of the season, where Chelsea were thrashed 4-0 by the Red Devils.
