Martin Keown reveals worry for Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp ahead of Southampton clash
LIVERPOOL could be without both first-team goalkeepers Adrian and Alisson for their Premier League clash against Southampton on Saturday, and former Arsenal star Martin Keown is worried for the Reds ahead of the match.
Arsenal legend Keown is also worried for the Reds ahead of their match against Southampton, as they haven’t had much time to recover.
Liverpool were in Istanbul on Wednesday night for the UEFA Super Cup, and were forced to play 120 minutes before a penalty shootout.
Keown admits that a 3pm kick-off tomorrow is not long to recover after an arduous match, and the goalkeeping crisis will be an added headache for Jurgen Klopp. Their reserve goalkeeper Adrian was injured after an altercation with a fan while celebrating winning the Super Cup.

He told talkSPORT: “Let’s hope he’s going to be okay because that is really bad news, isn’t it?
“Going to Southampton as well after what was an epic game in the Super Cup final.
“I know that they’re great players but it’s not much time to recover.
“Hasenhuttl has had a week with the players and I’m sure they’re going to be well prepared.
“There will be no time and space in that game - both managers with similar philosophies, pressing the ball really high.

“It’s a huge test and you want your goalkeeper there now, of course with that new confidence that he now has.”
Liverpool’s No 1, Alisson, picked up a calf injury in their opening match of the new season against Norwich City.
Adrian filled his shoes after signing for the club just days prior to the shock injury.
But, a freak incident after the Super Cup final penalty-shootout has left Adrian as a doubt for Saturday’s match at St Mary’s.
