Man Utd fans all say the same thing about John McGinn as Aston Villa ace nets at Tottenham
MANCHESTER UNITED fans rued their club’s failure to sign John McGinn following the Aston Villa midfielder’s opening goal against Tottenham on Saturday night.
And members of the Old Trafford faithful rued their chance to sign McGinn, who penned a new five-year deal with Villa on deadline day.
One United fan claimed on Twitter: “John McGinn just scored for Aston Villa.
“This is the same player Sir Alex Ferguson asked Man Utd to sign this Summer. Should have listened @ManUtd.”
Another tweeted after the goal: “That is why Man Utd was linked with McGinn during the transfer window. If he keeps this form up, his price might just increase by three-fold.”

One Red Devils follower commented: “Did nobody scout McGinn when the rumours came out?! Could use him in midfield #MUFC.”
Amid a swathe of tweets, one read: “Mcginn really is the complete midfielder. By the end of this season he will be worth 50+ Million easy.
Top Top player, would start him in the united team in a heartbeat.”
The disgruntled feeling among United fans was encapsulated in another tweet, which asked: “Why did #mufc not sign McGinn again?”
