Man City benefit from VAR despite Sterling screaming ‘f*** off!’ after disallowed goal
MANCHESTER CITY’S stars were furious with VAR’s decision to rule out a goal for offside at West Ham, however, Pep Guardiola's men ended up benefitting from the technology.
However, VAR ruled Sterling was offside by a matter of millimetres before he squared the ball to Jesus.
The decision was displayed on the screens at the Olympic Stadium, with West Ham fans greeting the message with cheers.
Sterling was furious with the decision and had a heated conversation with referee Mike Dean.
The City forward was also seen screaming ‘f*** off!’ at the decision to rule out their third goal.

Jesus also tried to argue the decision, however, Dean brushed off City’s complaints.
However, City were left thanking VAR after the technology allowed them to retake a missed penalty.
Serigo Aguero's spot kick was saved by Lukasz Fabianski. However, the West Ham stopper came off his line, resulting in Dean awarding a retake.
VAR will be used in all Premier League games this season, with the technology splitting opinions.
However, many hailed the system after City’s goal was ruled out, claiming it was the right decision.
