Newcastle are yet to make a move in the summer transfer window with a number of key decisions still to be made concerning key figures at the club.
Manager Rafael Benitez is out of contract in less than two weeks, although discussions about a new deal are ongoing and the Magpies are now believed to be waiting on the Spaniard to make a decision.
Meanwhile, the ownership of the club is equally uncertain so it remains to be seen how much funding is freed up for new investment - and the clock is ticking with other teams already springing into action.
Former Newcastle target Wesley has joined Aston Villa while Wolves, Watford, Bournemouth and Southampton have all signed at least one new player – but who is most likely to sign for or be sold by Newcastle this summer according to Football Whispers?
The Newcastle squad has already been thinned out dramatically with Kennedy, Antonio Barreca and Salomon Rondon all returning to their parent clubs after loan spells.
The forward has admitted that he is open-minded about where he plays next season but Newcastle will hope to keep him on the books, especially considering Salomon Rondon has returned to West Brom.
Hayden is thought to want a move further south to be nearer family but the Magpies may be keen to keep hold of him with Diame gone and Shelvey also on the move.
