Arsenal: Aubameyang says 'it’s a pleasure to play' with Lacazette
Aubameyang produced a stunning hat-trick performance for the Gunners and Lacazette also got onto the scoresheet, as Arsenal won their second leg 4-2 at the Mestalla Stadium.
The 7-3 aggregate victory secured Arsenal’s place in an all-English Europa League final against Chelsea, after the Blues beat Frankfurt 4-3 on penalties in the other semi-final tie.
Arsenal came into the game with a 3-1 lead from the first leg in London, but didn’t get off to the best of starts as the home team scored first, when Valencia’s Kevin Gamerio put the ball in the back of the net after 11 minutes.
Aubameyang, who recorded his first ever hat-trick for Arsenal on the night, opened his account when he levelled the score in the 17th minute with a volley from 20 yards out.

With the game tied at the break Lacazette put Arsenal ahead when he a guided his effort into the right corner after 50 minutes.
Gamerio then scored his second goal of the night for Valencia just before the hour mark, but the night belonged to Aubameyang who gave Arsenal the lead once again after he got on the end of a Ainsley Maitland-Niles' driven cross.
Aubameyang then ensured he would be taking home the match ball two minutes before time, when he blasted the ball into the roof of the net from close range.
Lacazette and Aubameyang have scored all of Arsenal’s goals over the two legs, with the Frenchman tallying three goals over the two legs and the Gabon forward chipping in with four.
