If Emery is considering making a move for the 26-year-old it is likely Arsenal will have to delve deep into their pockets to fund the transfer.
Maguire’s performances has many teams interested in the centre-half, with Manchester United reportedly having a £75m bid rejected by Leicester last summer.
The Foxes are under no pressure to sell their star player, after he signed a new five-year deal with the club last September.
Maguire has helped Leicester keep five clean sheets in his 30 league appearances this season.

"I think all the players here are enjoying playing for Leicester City and I'm quite relaxed on the situation with all the players and if anything ever comes in we have to deal with it as a club."
If the Gunners are to fund a record transfer for the centre-back it is likely they will need Champions League football next season.
However, their chances of qualifying for the Champions League via the Premier League are almost over as with one league game remaining they are three points off Tottenham in fourth place and have an eight-goal goal difference to overcome.
Arsenal’s chances of qualifying for Europe’s elite competition now rests on the Europa League, where they take a 3-1 victory from the Emirates into the second leg of their semi-final clash against Valencia on Thursday (8pm).
