Liverpool fans feel SORRY for Dejan Lovren after this picture was taken at Melwood base
LIVERPOOL fans felt sorry for Dejan Lovren after the defender was photographed watching on alone while his team-mates trained at their Melwood base.
Lovren and Mohamed Salah might be very close friends but the centre back was caught looking longingly on while the winger trained with the Brazilian duo of Fabinho and Roberto Firmino.
After the picture of Lovren was posted online, Liverpool fans quickly shared their thoughts on the situation.
One fan commented: “Poor bloke looks so lost.”
Another captioned the picture with: “When the cooler boys won’t let you play.”

One fan expressed their support for the 29-year-old defender: “We are all with Dejan in these tough times, we hope he recovers soon.”
Despite the humorous comments by fans about the captured moment, it was not all bleak times for the Croatian international as he was pictured talking with Salah on the same day.
In another photo he was seen training with Salah and Fabinho.
The Liverpool players were preparing for their visit to South Wales to take on Cardiff City today.
And Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is not taking anything for granted against the side placed 18th in the table.
“Cardiff should have beaten Chelsea a couple of weeks ago,” he said.
“That’s how dangerous they can be.
“They were 1-0 up and then conceded a goal that was offside. Everybody in football saw that.”
Liverpool: Klopp praises Salah and Mane ahead of Cardiff match
With six games left in the season Liverpool are one point behind City, as both teams are on course to finish the season with over 90 points.
“It’s absolutely crazy in England at the moment,” Klopp said.
“You might see two teams with over 90 points for the first time and don’t forget there are four others fighting like crazy for the other two Champions League positions as well.
“I’m sure third and fourth places will go to teams with points in the high 70s, and now the relegation battle is open again too.”
