Man Utd flop Alexis Sanchez will be ‘gone in the summer’ because of TWO players
MANCHESTER UNITED forward Alexis Sanchez will be offloaded in the summer - and his disappointing stint has been exacerbated by the success of Marcus Rashford and Romelu Lukaku.

That is the opinion of Sky Sports pundit Charlie Nicholas.
Sanchez missed Manchester United’s midweek triumph over Paris Saint-Germain with knee ligament damage, which he sustained during the 3-2 win over Southampton last Saturday.
The Chilean is expected to miss four to six weeks, although his national team physio suggested the injury may sideline him for two months.
The No 7 has massively underachieved since arriving at Old Trafford in a swap deal from Arsenal in January 2018, failing to justify his hefty wages, which are believed to be £500,000-a-week with bonuses and image rights.

Sanchez is one of very few players not to have turned around their form under the confidence-injecting Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and, with such a lucrative pay packet, it will be difficult for the club to find similarly deep-pocketed suitors for the 30-year-old, whose contract expires in June 2022.
Nicholas, who played 184 times for Sanchez’s former club, Arsenal, believes the forward is being shown up by his peers and will doubtless be sold this summer, however.
Speaking of Sanchez’s spell at United to Sky Sports, Nicholas said: “It's been a shocker.
“I watched Manchester United with interest [against Southampton]. Marcus Rashford played out wide on the right and when Romelu Lukaku is fit, he looks sharp.

“It looks like he's trimmed a few pounds off him so the sharpness has returned so he's the one that scares me, and Rashford's pace.”
Since Sanchez arrived at United, he has scored five goals in 41 appearances - in the same time Lukaku has notched 25 strikes in 55 appearances while Rashford has 15 in 52.
“I think they're running down the clock with Sanchez,” Nicholas added.
