MANCHESTER UNITED have not named Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as their next permanent boss. And a fresh report has claimed that is because Ed Woodward is keen to stay patient for the time being.

Manchester United boss Solskjaer has had huge impact at Old Trafford ever since replacing Jose Mourinho back in December.
The 46-year-old took over at Old Trafford with the Red Devils stuck in a rut and 11 points adrift of Arsenal in the race to make the Premier League top four.
However, Manchester United are back in form having won 12 of their first 15 games under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s guidance.
As a result of their fine form, calls for the Norwegian to be given the job on a full-time basis are growing louder.

And United also remain in contention for the FA Cup - though anything less than a 2-0 win over PSG on Wednesday will signal an end to their Champions League dream.
Meanwhile, former United star Paul Ince feels Solskjaer deserves praise for the job he has done at Old Tafford.
But he also believes that the Norwegian must steer the club to a top-four finish.
“I said at the start that I felt it was something that most managers could have done,” he said.
