Man Utd loan watch: Tim Fosu-Mensah, Joel Pereira and James Wilson are all struggling (Image: GETTY)
Manchester United currently have nine players out on loan and, for many, their chances of making the grade at Old Trafford appear slim.
Tim Fosu-Mensah, Axel Tuanzebe, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, Matty Willock, Callum Whelan, Tom Sang, James Wilson, Zak Dearnley and Joel Pereira are all spending the second half of the season elsewhere.
However, many of the Manchester United players are struggling and doing little to force their way into Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s future plans.
Express Sport gives you the full lowdown on how they all fared this weekend.

Matty Willock
Highly rated, but struggled as Crawley Town were beaten 1-0 by MK Dons on Saturday.
Callum Whelan
Did not play in Port Vale’s goalless draw with Notts County.
Tom Sang
Did not play in AFC Flyde’s win over Maidenhead United.

James Wilson
Like Fosu-Mensah, appears another United prospect doomed to fail. Insists his time at Aberdeen has been successful but did not get off the bench in the Dons’ 1-1 draw with Rangers.
Joel Pereira
Looks to be wasting time. A highly-rated United goalkeeper but what good is that when you cannot secure game time? Was left on the bench for Kortrijk this weekend.
Zak Dearnley
Lead the line in Oldham’s 1-1 draw with Stevenage but could not score. A commendable effort, however.
