Celtic and Rangers have won 49 and 54 Scottish titles respectively and rumours of a possible switch to the Premier League have been rife in recent years.
Celtic have won seven league titles in a row and are on course for another, with Rangers eight-points behind.
However, after Brendan Rodgers decided to walk away from the former European Cup winners - it has caused a debate to be had on how the Scottish giants would fare in the England leagues.
David Moyes revealed his interest in taking the Celtic job after Rodgers’ departure was announced, but Neil Lennon has since been appointed as caretaker boss until the end of the season.

“I have always been a big advocate of a British league with Celtic and Rangers in,” Neville told Sky Sports.
“How they'd do is tough to say but these are huge clubs and it is something I have thought for a long time.”
The last team to win that title in Scotland that wasn’t Celtic or Rangers was Aberdeen in 1985.
And although Neville described Celtic as a ‘huge’ club, he wasn’t surprised that Brendan Rodgers left for Leicester city earlier this week.
