They claim the impressive form of Vinicius Junior and the impending arrival of Rodrygo have prompted Real to pump the breaks on a move for the 27-year-old.
Marca also suggest Chelsea’s transfer ban - which they received for breaking FIFA regulations regarding signing players under the age of 18 - has also ‘setback’ Real’s pursuit of the forward.
They believe the Blues will unlikely part company with their talisman following the sanction, which they are set to appeal.
Hazard could still push for an exit, though, in order to fulfil his boyhood dream of wearing Real’s famous all-white kit.

I know what I am going to do
Eden Hazard on his future
He recently admitted to having decided his next move, telling RMC: “I know what I am going to do. I have made a decision."
Hazard has been Chelsea’s star performer so far this season, scoring 15 goals and picking up 10 assists.
His contribution to Maurizio Sarri’s side this campaign has been invaluable, and his former Blues team-mate Joe Cole has urged the club to do everything in their power to keep him at Stamford Bridge.
“I said when he signed that he would be the greatest player the club has ever had and I still stand by that," Cole told the Daily Mirror.
