Liverpool news: Carlo Ancelotti makes Naby Keita disappointment claim
FORMER Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has insinuated that Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita hasn’t reached the heights at Anfield that he hit at RB Leipzig.
And Ancelotti, had said that he tried to sign the midfielder on multiple occasions when he was in charge of Bayern Munich and Napoli.
But also hinted that since the former Leipzig star’s move to Merseyside, he hasn’t been the same player.
“I wanted to sign him at Bayern Munich and Rummenigge said I could meet him here in Naples,” Ancelotti told Corriere dello sport.
“He was incredible at Leipzig, in Liverpool he has highs and lows.”

Ancelotti’s no stranger when it comes to losing out to Liverpool.
The former AC Milan manager was in charge when his side lost to Rafa Benitez’s Reds in the Champions League final in 2005.
Liverpool won their game with Palace on Saturday 4-3 in an enthralling encounter.
Having gone 1-0 down thanks to an Andros Townsend own goal, the Reds pulled it back thanks to goals from Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino.
