It comes ahead of Rangers clash with Cowdenbeath in the Scottish Cup tomorrow night where Jermain Defoe could make his debut.
And Miller, who also played for Rangers’ Old Firm rivals Celtic, believes Kamara would be keen to get the move done early.
“Knowing the boy he’ll probably want to get it done,” Miller said.
“He’ll want to get that first four or five months with his new club, new team-mates and get a feel of the place.

“Will he go straight into the team? No.
“[Steven] Davis and Defoe, they will absolutely go straight into the team, they’ve been there, they’ve done it.
“It needs to work for the club. There’s no doubt there’ll be one eye on the move already.
“I think for all parties, it probably does suit if a deal can be done now.”
Sky Sports reporter Mark Benstead believes Kamara will get his move before January is over.
