Lorraine leaves viewers distracted as she exposes Buckingham Palace 'secret'
In a special episode of Lorraine, the ITV star presented a special edition of her programme from Buckingham Palace.
Lorraine reveals secret passageway for King to get to apartment
Lorraine viewers were left distracted on Wednesday morning as the ITV star hosted from a slightly different location. With Buckingham Palace allowing the public to tour the East Wing for the first time this week, Lorraine gave viewers a sneak peek.
However, while touring the royal abode, the 64-year-old revealed a secret entry within the Palace walls.
In the White Drawing Room, Lorraine showcased some of the stunning features for people at home.
Walking to a huge mirror in the corner, she said: “This room also hides a fantastic secret. If I walk over here, you can see it looks like a beautiful mirror, it’s absolutely gorgeous. But, there’s something very special about this huge mirror.”

In front of the mirror, was a large cabinet which Lorraine revealed was somewhat used as a handle.
Placing her hand underneath the cabinet, she added: “You can pull it out, I’m not going to pull it right out, it’s actually a hidden doorway.
“The doorway leads to the Royal Family’s private apartments in there! The King, of course, can use it to enter or leave the room discreetly whenever he so wishes. Isn’t that great?
Although as she revealed the secret passageway, some viewers were less than impressed.

One disgruntled viewer tweeted: “Why has she just given away a secret door and where it goes to? Isn't that breaking security codes?”
However, it appears as though it wasn’t exposing a secret entry which left her viewers talking.
As the Scottish presenter wore a pale pink collared dress, some people were quick to notice the pockets on the chest were pointing to a rather private area.
Someone commented: “Lovely colour dress but the pocket flaps above your chest are a design faux pas…. Distracting to what is a great show.”
Another asked: “What on Earth is the brand #Lorraine wearing?”
“What weird dress #lorraine,” Quipped one viewer
Someone else commented: “Did her dresser laugh as much as me when they saw where the pockets are pointing in that dress #Lorraine.”
