West Ham star Michail Antonio rules ONE team out of Premier League title race
TOTTENHAM will not win the Premier League title this season - but Manchester City must NOT be ruled out of lifting the trophy for a second successive campaign.
Tottenham are NOT in the Premier League title race say pundits
That is according to West Ham star Michail Antonio, who has sent a warning to league-leaders Liverpool.
Liverpool are currently seven points clear at the top of the Premier League table after Saturday’s win over Brighton.
Manchester City are second with Tottenham two points further back in third.
Spurs can leapfrog City on Sunday if they beat Manchester United at Wembley.
I reckon you could rule out Spurs to be honest
City are not playing until Wolves visit the Etihad on Monday night.
Antonio cannot see any way Tottenham will finish top of the pile come the end of the season.
But he says if City can put a run together like they did last term, then Liverpool will be pushed all the way.
“You can’t rule out Man City, you just can’t do it,” Antonio said on Sky Sports.
“I reckon you could rule out Spurs to be honest.
“I just feel City are too good a team to rule them out right now.
“I think they were four points behind [at the start of the weekend] and that’s not a massive margin.
“Liverpool have still got us to play, we’re doing well.
“Man City can go on a crazy run like they did last year.
“They just keep winning games and putting the pressure on Liverpool.
“You can’t say Liverpool have won it yet because it’s only seven points in it.”
