He will be on the list, because they have enough scouts at the club
Virgil van Dijk
"He is already very far [ahead], especially at that age,” Van Dijk told De Telegraaf about the Ajax centre-half.
"A good defender, good boy, calm, knows what he wants and hopefully he makes the right choice in his next step.”
When pressed whether De Ligt’s next club could be Liverpool, Van Dijk said: "He will be on the list, because they have enough scouts at the club.”
De Ligt has been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Manchester United also in the hunt for the 19-year-old defender.

Van Dijk is well aware of De Ligt’s ability having played with the youngster for Holland.
And Reds star Van Dijk has revealed he’s more than willing to give his opinion to Liverpool scouts if needed.
When asked if he would be the best scout to profile De Ligt, Van Dijk added: "No, but if they need my opinion at Liverpool, I'll give it.”
Van Dijk is currently the world’s most expensive defender following his £75m move from Southampton to Anfield in January.

Should De Ligt continue to shine, the Ajax star could go on take Van Dijk’s honour. However, the Liverpool star says he’ll be ready to congratulate his international team-mate in the future if he is sold for a higher fee.
"No, they will pay less for Matthijs," Van Dijk said. "The amount for me was very high, though. No, without craziness.
"It's just like that and if he ever becomes the most expensive defender, I'll be the first to congratulate him.”
Van Dijk and Liverpool are back in action after the international break, with the Reds travelling to Watford.
