Arsenal transfer blow
Arsenal will reportedly be short of funds to splash out on new signings in the January transfer window.
Gunners chiefs backed Unai Emery over the summer by luring Lucas Torreira, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Bernd Leno, Stephan Lichtsteiner and Matteo Guendouzi to the Emirates.
But The Telegraph claim those deals, as well as those struck with Mesut Ozil, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, mean finances are tight.
Arsenal will therefore not have money to spend once the transfer window reopens unless there is a major outgoing in north London.
Arsenal are also facing having to allot any extra cash they have to tying Aaron Ramsey down to a new contract.

Liverpool comeback
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed his delight at welcoming Pepijn Lijnders back to Anfield following his stint as NEC Nijmegen manager.
"It is important to mention a returning individual within our own camp: Pepijn Lijnders," Klopp wrote in Liverpool's official matchday programme.
"I cannot begin to tell you how positive it is for Liverpool Football Club that we have Pep back and in such a senior capacity.
"He is totally committed to the best values we hold; his influence this season and for season to come will be important for the entire football operations and I think we have someone who is world class as a coach but also as a person.
"Likewise with Peter Krawietz, who has been with me throughout my time at Liverpool and previously at Dortmund and Mainz.
"I have complete trust in Pete and know he is someone who will work non-stop to make sure we are the best prepared for every challenge we face.
"I feel very blessed to be supported by both of them, as well as John Achterberg, Andreas Kornmayer and the countless others at Melwood who are vital to us."

Cristiano Ronaldo exit verdict
Cristiano Ronaldo left Real Madrid for Juventus over the summer and Sergio Ramos says the La Liga giants can cope with his exit.
"Here were have always felt like a family, so I don’t know what he was talking about," said Ramos, when asked about Ronaldo suggesting the atmosphere at Juventus is different to that at Real.
"We have had lots of success, which is because we are a family and he was part of that family, which we have continued to have.
"It’s obviously a negative when you lose a player like Cristiano Ronaldo, but we can continue to win and in Real Madrid’s history many have come and gone, but Real Madrid continue to win.
"No one is above Real Madrid, whatever happens Real Madrid will continue to live on and it was his choice to leave.
"The decisions are not mine to make, but the doors are always open to those that want to be part of Real Madrid.
"Losing Ronaldo was hard, but no player is above Real Madrid and we still have the hunger to improve and win more titles.
"The mindset we have is more important than any individuals in the team."

Celtic problems
Celtic have struggled in this summer’s transfer window because they failed to move quickly enough.
That is the verdict of former Hoops skipper Stiliyan Petrov.
"But, you know what? Celtic must be very smart in their transfer window," said Petrov.
"[Celtic] must know that they’re competing now with the Premier League, with the Championship, who can pay the money, they can double the wages, they can pay double what Celtic pay.
"So [Celtic] need to have their targets way earlier, they need to secure them way earlier than anybody else.
"And I think that’s what’s probably been lacking a little bit with Celtic."

Maguire contract
Leicester star Harry Maguire is reportedly poised to sign a new contract after the Foxes fielded interest in the defender from Manchester United.
Maguire made his way onto Jose Mourinho's list of centre-back targets by starring for England at the World Cup in Russia.
But Leicester were unwilling to do business unless they received an offer which trumped the £75m Liverpool spent on Virgil van Dijk in January.
The Daily Mail claim Mourinho could soon see Maguire move further from his grasp by putting pen to paper on fresh terms.
The Sheffield United academy graduate is said to be on the verge of signing a £75,000-a-week contract at Leicester.
