Cech was visibly uncomfortable with new boss Emery’s tactics of playing out from the back.
And former Chelsea striker Chris Sutton has questioned why Emery would spend so much on a goalkeeper in Leno to just put him on the bench.
“I think some keepers are better than others (at playing out),” Sutton said on BBC Radio 5 Live.
“I actually think it was a big call, Petr Cech over Leno.

“So I think it is a risk if Arsenal are going to play that way and the way Emery wants them to play, playing out from the back.
“But he clearly didn’t tell Petr Cech to make such a mess up as he did.
