Emmerdale spoilers: Robert makes CHILLING warning in White family plot twist
EMMERDALE'S Robert Sugden may be about to foil the White family’s plan to move to Australia ahead of the upcoming car crash disaster, as he made a worrying promise to his sister Victoria.
Emmerdale: Robert admits he's hired a private investigator
Robert (played by Ryan Hawley) has no idea that Rebecca White (Emily Head) has concocted a plan with her sister Chrissie (Louise Marwood) and father Lawrence (John Bowe) to ditch the dales with baby Seb and run away from him and the court mediation.
But tonight, the fan favourite character admitted that he’s hired a private investigator in preparation for any behind-the-scenes scheming, determined to win back his son on the ITV soap.
“It’s gone too quiet they’re all too reasonable, something’s wrong,” he confided to Victoria (Isabel Hodgins).
Disbelieving that her friend Rebecca could be so cruel, the brunette assured: “Well you’ll find out when you get there on Thursday.”

If they even try and make it look like I’m not fit to see my son, they’re going to regret it
“No they’re up to something,” a suspicious Robert continued. “If it kicks off and we go to court, by the time they’ve painted me as a bad father, it’ll be too late. I’ve hired a PI.”
After attempting to convince Victoria that he was getting ready for the Whites to “turn nasty”, Robert seemed to hint that he would take matters into his own hands if needed.
“If they even try and make it look like I’m not fit to see my son, they’re going to regret it,” he said in a low voice.
Meanwhile, little did Robert know that Rebecca was voicing her own worries about the carefully constructed plot to rid her son of Robert for good.

Unable to contain her fear, the new mother begged Chrissie for help, but her sister insisted: “It won’t come to that I promise you, another couple of days.”
“Lucky [Lachlan White] won’t let us down will he?” Rebecca then asked, as Chrissie claimed her son Lachlan (Thomas Atkinson) wouldn’t dream of ruining things as he would “lose everything”.
But with Robert getting ever-closer to the truth, how will it factor in to the upcoming crash scenes that will see the Whites wiped out for good? Will baby Seb survive?
