EastEnders: Max and Charlie plotted to send Jack to prison
In Friday night’s instalment of the long-running BBC soap, Denise Fox (Diane Parish) told Cora that Max had returned to Albert Square and appeared to be a “changed man”.
But the food bank worker did not believe her and warned: “Max is only out for himself. The sooner people realise that, the better. He’s rotten, inside and out.”
Cora could later be seen plotting to reveal the truth about Max’s return to Walford and his plan to bring down his family after he was wrongly sent to prison for the death of Lucy Beale.
Meanwhile, Denise is still struggling after she was turned away from receiving benefits and was told to visit a nearby food bank.
