Katie was dropped from the role of Sarah Platt's daughter before she started filming after an age disagreement.

Now 27, Katie will play Bethany Morris who arrives at The Mill Health Centre for a work experience placement.

Lucy is extremely bright, confident, social butterfly with quite a charming wit to her.
Viewers will see Mrs Tembe (played by Lorna Laidlaw) try to convince Sid Vere (Ashley Rice) to give Bethany a chance to shine in the placement.
However, Bethany is not happy with menial tasks and causes upset when she tells Sid exactly what she expects during her time.
Her confidence soon shatters as a conversation with a patient's daughter results in an unfortunate incident and it is left to Sid to remind her of her position.
