In upcoming scenes on EastEnders, the two will be at loggerheads as they argue over the future of the market in Albert Square.
Rumours begin to spread that the market is being moved and Carmel faces backlash from stall holders who want to know what will happen to them.
While she reveals that the rumours are true, she insists that the move is only in the early planning stages and they have nothing to worry about yet.
However, Martin (played by James Bye), is angered by the news and decides to go on strike, encouraging other stall holders to do the same.

He ends up arguing with Stacey (Lacey Turner) over his choice to strike and storms back to the market where he then begins to argue with Carmel.
When he sees Martin shouting in the middle of the Square, Kush (Davood Ghadami) rushes over to defend his mum and insists he has gone too far.
But Martin soon turns on him and the pair end up clashing once again - is their already fragile friendship forming cracks already?
Meanwhile, on a happier note, fans of the BBC soap are predicting a romance for Ben Mitchell (Harry Reid) and Johnny Carter (Ted Reilly).
