EastEnders: Is there romance ahead for Ben Mitchell and Johnny Carter?
AFTER they were seen flirting in last night's episode, EastEnders fans are predicting romance for Ben Mitchell (played by Harry Reid) and Johnny Carter (Ted Reilly).
Possible romance as Ben Mitchell and Johnny Carter flirt
The recent scenes on BBC saw things hotting up between the possible lovebirds-to-be and fans immediately took to Twitter to comment on the flicker of flirtation in the Queen Vic's kitchen when Johnny decided to throw a party.
Ben could be seen joking with Johnny, saying: "I never knew you were so popular."
Johnny then responded flirtatiously by teasing: "There's a lot you don't know about me."

Last November, Ben's drunken advances were spurred on by grief
Although Abi Branning (Lorna Fitzgerald) then interrupted the moment before the kitchen got any hotter, EastEnders viewers are anticipating more to come with this storyline.
One person posted: "Liking the Ben/Johnny moment in tonight's episode. Hurry up and do something there".
However, another wasn't so sure that the pair should be in a relationship, saying: "EastEnders you're transparent! 'We've got no storyline ideas for Ben.. Oh I know.. we'll pair him with Johnny, that'll give him something.'"

Reactions were divided
One Twitter user slammed EastEnders for being "transparent"
One fan commented in support of the romance
It's not the first time there's been passion in the air between Ben and Johnny; in 2014 there was a dramatic case of mixed signals when Ben rejected Johnny's advances, having not yet come to terms with his own sexuality.
In November last year, Ben shocked viewers by trying to kiss Johnny in a drunken state.
Still struggling with the death of his boyfriend, Paul Coker (Johnny Labey), Ben repeatedly tried to make a move on Johnny, who rejected his advances knowing that Ben was grieving and vulnerable.
EastEnders continues tomorrow at 7.30pm on BBC One.
