The soap legend passed away in October 2016 at the age of 90 and immediately an onslaught of famed supporters dashed to pay their respects to the veteran star.
Her death left thousands in mourning, and tonight her life was celebrated in a 60-minute special with her fellow Corrie stars, among other celebrity pals, reminding the nation on what made the late superstar shine so brightly.
Actress Sally Dynevor and co-star Michael Le Vel, who both starred in countless scenes with Jean as Sally and Kevin Webster, were taken back to Hilda’s home, and were overcome with nostalgia.
“Where have the years gone?” Sally asked, as she wiped the tears away.

Ken Barlow star William Roache MBE hailed Jean as a “superb actress”.
The likes of Phillip Schofield - who’s made no secret of his love for the cobbled streets of Weatherfield - and close friend Paul O’Grady spoke fondly of the star as they recounted their favourite Hilda moments.
And the audience at home were in pieces watching back highlights of Jean’s 23 years in Corrie, and didn’t hesitate to sob their eyes out on Twitter.
