Incredible Western series with 100% Rotten Tomatoes score hailed a ‘masterpiece’
Viewers are urging others to watch this hit western drama, which has received a perfect score of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes

The 2021 western crime drama Joe Picket has received an envied score of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes and has been inundated with praise from viewers. The series is based on the characters created by novelist CJ Box and features Michael Dorman in the title role. Both seasons received positive reviews from critics, with one describing the series as an “absorbing, nail-biting, timeless classic.”
Dorman stars as a game warden, also known as a conservation officer, who relocated to Wyoming with his family to oversee the wilderness surrounding the Yellowstone National Park. However, after discovering a dead body, a major conspiracy is uncovered, forcing Joe to protect both his family and the wildlife he's sworn to preserve.

Among the many reviews, one penned: “So I read CJ Box’s Books on Game Warden Joe Pickett, and I always thought it would be a great tv series, and it is.”
As a second remarked: “The plot is full of interesting twists and turns, and there are just enough touches of humor to give the overall story world some personality.”
“It’s modestly absorbing, perfectly fine, tick-above-average TV viewing,” said a third.
While another added: “After a long dry spell of morally bankrupt television writing, the Joe Pickett series is an absorbing, nail-biting, timeless classic.”

A fifth echoed: “I just finished watching the first season, wow!! Loved it. I did not know this series existed until yesterday, yep, watched it pretty much non stop.”
Meanwhile one viewer urged: “If you are wanting to watch a very exciting and heartfelt scenes at times this show us for you. I found it by accident and now I’m hoping for season 3.”
Sadly for fans, Joe Pickett is unlikely to return to screens with a third series after Paramount+ axed the series in 2023.
Among its heartbroken viewers, its author C.J Box also shared his devastation and stated: “We’re disappointed and we hope the very talented and very able people behind the show can find a new home for it in the coming months.
“If not, we’ll always be proud of JOE PICKETT, and we treasure the experience of meeting and working with the producers, writers, and actors.”
