Claudia Winkleman introduces Strictly Come Dancing contestants

Strictly Come Dancing is in full swing with the stars embracing their latest Latin and ballroom challenges.

Last week's show was a rollercoaster of emotions as Love Island's Tasha Ghouri captured viewers' hearts with her heartfelt routine to Billie Eilish's What Was I Made For?, while the Go Compare icon Wynne Evans had the audience roaring with laughter.

Regrettably, singer Toyah Willcox bid farewell to the dance floor after her Movie Week performance to 'Poor Unfortunate Souls' from The Little Mermaid failed to impress.

As we approach the fourth week on BBC One, fans are buzzing with anticipation to see how the dancing duos fare this round, reports the Mirror.

Strictly Come Dancing Week 4 Leaderboard

Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu - 30

The pair gyrated to Sub Sub's 'Aint No Love', featuring Melanie Williams, earning praise for improvement but needing work on arm movements, according to Motsi Mabuse; Anton Du Beke encouraged them to "keep going".

Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola - 27

Dancing to Billie Eilish's 'Birds Of A Feather,' Sarah shared the song's deep resonance with her family.

Shirley Ballas commended her "flawless" spins, whereas Craig Revel Horwood pointed out her efforts might be excessive yet hailed her as a "clean, clean dancer, that's spectacular."

Nick Knowles and Luba Mushtuk - 21

DIY SOS icon Nick Knowles was sidelined from his Charleston performance for Movie Week, set to the tune of Paddington 2's "Rain On The Roof."

Motsi Mabuse lauded Nick's return to the stage, remarking: "Some people stop the show and never return and I think it takes a lot of courage". She described his performance as "tidy, readable, nice and smooth".

Anton Du Beke was equally impressed, expressing that he "loved it" and praising the "timing was exquisite".

Jamie Borthwick and Michelle Tsiakkas - 34

Jamie Borthwick, the EastEnders star, dazzled the crowd with his salsa to "Danza Kuduro" by Don Omar and Lucenzo, alongside Michelle Tsiakkas.

Shirley Ballas couldn't contain her enthusiasm, giving him a standing ovation and declaring it his "best dance" yet, saying she was "proud" of his performance.

Craig Revel Horwood, however, suggested Jamie needed more "figure of eight" hip movements but conceded: "all that aside, you are an incredible dancer."

Wynne Evans and Katya Jones - 34

Opera virtuoso Wynne Evans, paired with Katya Jones, delivered a Tango to ABBA's "Money, Money, Money" that captivated the judges.

Motsi Mabuse exclaimed: "This is why I love Strictly Come Dancing, this is why I love dancing", praising the "beautifully timed" routine and confessing she had been "waiting for this dance".

Anton Du Beke echoed the sentiment, hailing it as "one of your best performances" due to Wynne's full commitment "so committed to the whole concept from start to finish".

Punam Krishan and Gorka Marquez - 20

The Scottish TV doctor was buzzing with anticipation to jive her way through the "lively" track 2 Be Loved (Am I Ready) by pop sensation Lizzo, alongside her dynamic dance partner Gorka Marquez.

Judge Motsi Mabuse gave a mixed review of her routine, stating it blew "hot and cold", highlighting there were "quite a few mistakes". However, she praised the latter part, admitting it was "really well done".

Head judge Shirley Ballas suggested that perhaps the pressure got to her this week, advising her to refocus on the "back to the nitty gritty" essentials of dance.

Paul Merson and Karen Hauer - 23

Turning to football pundit Paul Merson's return to the dance floor with Karen Hauer, the couple had faced the peril of the previous week's bottom two but rebounded with an energetic Quickstep to Fred Astaire's classic I Won't Dance.

Anton Du Beke commended Paul's comeback, effusive in his praise: "I take my hat off to you", for his dedication and effort.

Craig Revel Horwood, however, didn't shy away from noting there was room for improvement, citing "style, frame, gapping and heaviness" as areas needing attention, though he acknowledged Paul's "progression".

JB Gill and Amy Dowden - 30

Continuing the high scores, JB Gill of JLS fame charmed alongside Amy Dowden with a sultry Rumba to You Might Need Somebody by Kara Marni, which captivated the judging panel.

Motsi lauded JB's attention to his technique and his visible passion, with Anton echoing her sentiments, calling him a "good student" who heeded Amy's guidance.

Shirley Ballas admired his "lovely figure of eight" and confessed she "rather enjoyed it", adding further compliments to the pair's performance.

Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell - 30

In a show-stopping Australian-themed performance, comedian Chris McCausland and his partner Dianne Buswell took to the dance floor with a lively Salsa routine to Men At Work's Down Under.

Shirley was blown away, giving a standing ovation and admitting she was left "speechless" by the impressive lifts throughout the dance.

She gushed: "I'm telling you from my heart, that was absolutely impressive."

However, Craig tempered the praise, suggesting it "lacked a bit of flow", but jokingly added it was "bonza".

Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe - 33

Meanwhile, Gladiator Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe delivered a sophisticated Viennese Waltz to SZA's Nobody Gets Me.

Anton declared it his "favourite dance of the night", while Motsi praised the pair for becoming lost in their own world and commended their hard work.

Craig added: "It was elegant, it was grateful, it was gorgeous".

Sam Quek and Nikita Kuzmin - 28

Olympic field hockey player Sam Quek and her partner Nikita Kuzmin let loose with a Samba to Shakira's Hips Don't Lie.

Shirley noted that Sam's timing was "really quite good", but pointed out that some positions looked a "little awkward".

Motsi encouraged Sam to add more Samba bounce, but remained enthusiastic, concluding with: "Damn girl, I love to see you on the dancefloor!"

Pete Wicks and Jowita Prystal - 29

Former The Only Way Is Essex star Pete Wicks and his partner Jowita Przystal performed a Quickstep to The Jam's Town Called Malice. Craig quipped that "hip rolls don't belong in any form of Quickstep" but admitted he "actually liked it".

Anton observed that he could see "the voices in your head start screaming" whenever he gets into hold, yet insisted that he has "so much potential".

Tasha Ghouri and Aljaz Skorjanec - 39

The Charleston was the dance of choice for former Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and her partner Aljaz Skorjanec, performed to Anne-Marie and Shania Twain's 'Unhealthy'.

Motsi was succinct with her praise, stating simply: "One word. Fab-u-lous! ", while Shirley concurred: "What a way to end the show, I can't fault it."

Craig did point out a few missed swivels but still described the performance as "amazing", and Anton found nothing to criticise.

Strictly Come Dancing is available to watch on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
