Coronation Street's young stars dazzled as they celebrated a milestone birthday with Liam McCheyne, who plays Sean Tullys offspring Dylan Wilson, declaring his affection for his soap companion Sydney Martin, aka Betsy Swain. The pair were spotted at a soiree in honour of Elle Mulvaney's 22nd birthday, looking cosy in a delightful photo taken at 8 Manchester, a Whitefield-based Chinese culinary hot spot.

Liam struck a dapper pose alongside Sydney before joining the party to ring in Amy Barlow actress Elle Mulvaneys special day.

Looking sharp, Liam sported a classic black shirt paired with sleek jeans and white sneakers, as he wrapped an arm around co-star Cait Fitton, who lights up the screen as Lauren Bolton. Cait turned heads sporting a sultry leather skirt offset by a fashionable cream sweater, her look complete with daring strappy heels and a striking leopard-print purse.

Sydney stood out in a chic ensemble consisting of a khaki jumper similar to Caits, teamed with a bouncy black skirt and stylish knee-high boots, her golden locks cascading freely over a trendy leather bag slung over her arm.

Nesting in the warmth of their friendship, Sydney affectionately commented on Liam's post: "My beauties!" Echoing the sentiments, Liam shared in a heartfelt tribute on his own feed celebrating their astrological bond: "Love love love!", reports the Liverpool Echo.

Their fellow cast members didnt miss the chance to express their delight, with Elle adding her thoughts: "Oh this ateee!" and Vicky Myers, portraying Sydney's TV mum Lisa Swain, gushed: "Gorgeous xx."

Just weeks ago, Liam was hospitalised for a mystery ailment but took to X in early August, hailing the health service: "Morning shout out to our amazing NHS. Especially all those at the Royal Oldham who took superb care of me over the past two days. What a mess we would be in without them."

Having once shared his Coronation Street role with twin brother Connor, Liam has since returned solo to the cobbles as Dylan after years away, while Connor has bowed out from acting to pursue professional cricket.

Meanwhile, Liam's acting chops have seen him in diverse roles across several series, from the classic revamp All Creatures Great and Small to ITV's The Bay, not to mention playing Harrison in Last Tango in Halifax.

In Corrie alone, he boasts appearances in over 100 episodes since first gracing our screens in 2011.
