ITV fans are slamming the new set design on the latest series of Tipping Point as it returns to screens with brand new episodes.

The hit game show, which sees three contestants all take on the coin machine in hopes of winning a cash prize, debuted a new set as fans eagerly tuned in with Ben Shephard retuning at the helm.

But it seems fans are not happy with one particular element of the set design, after spotting a moving backdrop behind the contestants that features blue circles chaotically bouncing around.

Fans took to X to share that they found them distracting and “weird”.

One fan said: “What's this weird new set with the annoying blue circles. It's awful.”tipping p

Several other fans replied to the comment, sharing: “they're so distracting get rid!”

“I hadn't noticed till you mentioned it,” and “When you do you can't miss it.”

Fans welcomed Lecturer Syd £1800 from Leicester, Mortgage Advisor Syd from East Yorkshire and retired sales manager Jackie from South Wales.

Syd managed to beat off the competition and soar through to the final with £1600 in his bank after beating off Anna and Jackie respectively.

Fans were thrilled when Syd landed the jackpot counter winning £10k and burst into tears, saying he can finally afford to go and visit his mum who lives abroad and hasn’t seen in ten years

“Well done Syd 10grand and off to see his mum,” gushed one fan.

“Well done Syd! Hope that you have an amazing visit to see your Mum” penned a second.

A third admitted they themselves shed a tear, adding: “Aww not often does #tippingpoint make me cry but that was so lovely!!! Loved how Ben comforted him,” while a fourth said: “I don’t usually get emotional watching #TippingPoint but I’m thrilled for Syd & blubbing like a goodun now.”

But fans weren’t so happy with the episode last week as they admitted furiously “switching off” the daytime show, claiming ITV “fobbed them off”.

Viewers sitting down to watch Friday's (September 6) episode were left bitterly disappointed when a repeat aired, despite the network promising new episodes.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one annoyed fan fumed: "A new series started on Monday, so why are @ITV fobbing us off with repeats after just three days?"

Another added: "It’s not a new #TippingPoint - the trigger is real."

A third agreed: "Can’t believe this is another repeat! Turned off TV until Answer Run comes on on BBC1."
