Wes Streeting was left red-faced during his GB News interview after Eamonn Holmes poked fun at his rather odd interview location before blaming it on the BBC.
Eamonn Holmes jokes Wes Streeting is the 'prince of darkness'
GB News welcomed Labour MP Wes Streeting onto the show on Monday, June 24, but hosts Eamonn Holmes and Isabel Webster were left distracted by his strange interview location.
The Labour politician was invited on the show to chat about transgender rights in the light of author J.K Rowling admitting she can't trust the party to protect women's rights.
As the interview concluded Eamonn, 64, thanked the politician for his time as he praised him on his comments regarding the matter.
But before he could say goodbye, Eammon joked: "I thought you were very clear about all of that but what I'm not so clear about is why on this hottest day of the year on this beautiful day and whatever, but you look like you're inside a wardrobe this morning.
"A very dark oak wardrobe," Eamonn added.
He hilariously proceeded to call Wes the "Prince of Darkness" thanks to his dimly lit location.
"Where is he," the former This Morning host desperately asked, as Wes went on to set the record straight after bursting into a fit of laughter.
"Let me show you the real glamour of politics right here," Wes began. "I am in the Holiday Inn in Salford because there are some daft rules around her Media City that the BBC have.
"Which means the GB news and you know some of your competitors - I won't name them on your channel - You know we basically have to book rooms in a hotel like this.

"And because it is sunny outside we got to pull the curtain across," Wes explained.
As he went on to admit: "It does just look like I am in a broom cupboard somewhere.
“So it’s not all glamour on the election campaign trail you know.”
