Eamonn Holmes leaves GB News all saying same thing as he addresses major change
Eammon Holmes was forced to speak out during Monday's instalment of GB News after fans blast "anxiety" inducing new set.
Eamonn Holmes addresses GB News set change
The GB News set underwent a major change this weekend and viewers have been left divided. Monday's episode of the controversial news channel debuted a flashy new set, which featured a new desk and colour scheme.
Eamonn Holmes and Isabel Webster were the lucky hosts to christen the new set.
The 64-year-old presenter, who just split from his wife Ruth Langsford, welcomed viewers back from the break as he thanked fans for the comments on the show so far.
"As you reach a new day, a new week and a new set here on GB News Breakfast," Eamonn announced, as Isabel added: "We've been slaving all weekend and trying to sort all of this out with the paint brushes and the dustpan and brush and shaping it."
"Maybe you've noticed the differences. We've got a bigger round desk so we can then see our guests on either side doesn't have to be a straight line," the former This Morning host explained, as Isabel asked viewers to share their thoughts on GB News' new look.
It was apparent viewers weren't hugely impressed by the makeover as they stormed to X, formally Twitter, to share their thoughts.
One viewer @JanePBoyce penned: "@EamonnHolmes and @IsabelWebster_ You’re sitting the wrong way round it’s giving me anxiety @GBNEWS."
As a second @EllenfarthmanJo echoed: "I don’t like the new set…. Sorry, but it makes my eyes hurt."
Another fan @rae_alister blasted it as "[vomiting emoji] inducing."

A fourth user @Jeffrey73945880 chimed in, adding: "@GBNEWS The new set is terrible."
While @NathRNath noted: Love it pal," they admitted: "Going to be weird you on the other side!"
The comments weren't all negative however, as fan @pamdahler raved: "@GBNEWS loving the new set I posted in the first couple of weeks of GBN broadcasting that the table being straight was mad because guests/presenters were having to lean back & forth to see each other.
"So the new curved table was a no-brainer - set looks more professional now."
