Outlanders cast reunite ahead of series return in Taylor Swift celebration

With filming for Oulander’s eighth and final season officially underway, Sam Heughan revealed the cast spent their time off at a Taylor Swift concert.

The Era’s Tour finally arrived in the UK last week, with three dates in Edinburgh, Scotland where the hit time-travelling drama is currently being filmed.

As a result, the Jamie Fraser star attended a show at the Murrayfield Stadium alongside his beloved co-stars and showrunners.

The actor took to Instagram with the sweet snaps which showed him and his onscreen nephew John Bell proudly parading their colourful variety of Swiftie bracelets.

Sam appeared to have a great time as he was all smiles and showed his appreciation in the caption.

The 44-year-old reflected: “Wonderful evening back @murrayfield_stadium with the @outlander_starz family!!

“Thanks @louisamcculloch3 @nightmaril for organising and to @taylorswift for an incredible evening's entertainment!”

The post also included a group photo from their private box where the cast grinned and threw up peace signs.

As well as Bell, Heughan was accompanied by his onscreen wife Caitriona Balfe and daughters Sophie Skelton, Lauren Lyle and Richard Rankin.

The season seven newcomers Joey Phillips, Izzy Meikle-Small, Charles Vandervaart and Caitlin O'Ryan were also in attendance.

This post comes just days after Heughan joked Taylor would forget all about her current boyfriend Travis Kelce when she sees him in the crowd.

Dressed in his full Jamie Fraser costume and the signature ponytail, the actor welcomed the hitmaker to Scotland and revealed he would attend the tour.

In the Instagram clip he said: “She obviously doesn't know this, but when she comes to Scotland and she sees me in the audience, she's going to forget all about ... him [Travis Kelce] and fall for a man in a ginger wig.”

Hueghan then cheekily smiled and added: “How can she resist?”
