Loose Women: Denise Welch shares her views on Joe Biden

Loose Women viewers shared their disappointment moments into the ITV daytime show after it was abruptly cut short. Much to their annoyance, the programme which usually airs for one hour from 12.30pm until 1.30pm was in a major schedule shake-up.

Kaye Adams hosted Tuesday's episode alongside panellists Denise Welch, Brenda Edwards and Janet Street-Porter but at the start of the show she made an announcement.

Despite having a full live audience, she began: "Hello and welcome to Tuesday's Loose Women. We're finishing a little bit earlier today due to the racing but we still have a packed show coming up."

Loose Women had been cut short to make way for ITV's Racing: Live From Ascot and ITV News which aired at 1pm. Viewers took X, formerly known as Twitter, where they issued a similar complaint.

@Dc7073Bloss tweeted: "#loosewomen Bloody horseracing, hate it."

@I_knew_Bob commented: "Only 30 mins of #loosewomen today and for the rest of the week."

While @bib said: "Only 30mins #loosewomen."

Meanwhile, things took an awkward turn during the show after the panel addressed US President Joe Biden's recent on-stage appearance which left many people baffled.

The 81-year-old's opponents claimed he experienced a moment of confusion that required Barack Obama to lead him off stage at a weekend fundraiser.

The White House shared other footage that showed Mr Biden was just pausing to take in the applause.

"The White House has defended President Joe Biden," Kaye explained, "after another apparent mishap over the weekend. Biden was led off stage by Barack Obama after appearing to freeze."

They also shared footage of Mr Biden "wandering off" during the G7 Summitt but Prime Minister Rishi Sunak confirmed he was going over to speak with the pilot.

Janet branded Mr Biden's critics as "ageist and negative" adding she believed the world leaders, who defended the US president's actions.

Host Kaye then took a cheeky swipe at her Loose Women co-star Denise, stating: "I think Denise has had a freezing event because you've kept quiet all this time."

"Carry on Janet. You know I don't like to interrupt," Denise jokingly commented.

She went on to suggest that President Biden appears to be "struggling" and would not have wanted to see an elderly parent in public making the same mistakes.

Kaye interjected: "That's a 20 second clip..." but Denise spoke loudly: "Listen, since Covid I believe nothing anybody says in the government or anything."

"That's a really sad state of affairs," the presenter mused as the pair continued to go back and forth.

Denise added: "I don't believe anything we are fed."

Viewers took to X and reacted to their heated discussion as @PEPSlMOM said: "Just let Denise talk!!! #LooseWomen."

@CelestialTeal agreed: "They never let her talk, mainly because she goes against the grain."

@InformeOculto said: "It's obvious. Joe makes too many gaffes to lead the 'free world' and here we are, dare you say anything about Joe's actions, and you're suddenly AGEIST #LooseWomen."

Loose Women airs weekdays on ITV at 12.30pm
