Britain's Got Talent's head judge Simon Cowell teased that his co-stars would be getting a pay rise to their already hefty salaries ahead of the ITV show's return next year.

It comes as Sydnie Christmas was named as the winner of the 2024 series over the weekend, with her securing a huge cash prize and a place at the Royal Variety Show. The singer wowed the judges from her very first audition, where Amanda Holden pressed her Golden Buzzer.

Fellow judges Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli also had nothing but words of praise for the performer as she went on to win the final. Following Sunday's show, Simon turned his attention to talking money.

The ITV talent show judge posted a picture of his co-stars to his Instagram account, with Amanda holding her hand up in the air. He captioned the post as he quipped: "Who is getting a raise? #bgt"

Fans in the comments agreed that Amanda, who chose the winning act Sydnie Christmas as her Golden Buzzer, deserved a raise. One user wrote: "Best act won! Give Amanda that raise!"

Another added: "Give them all a raise. Fab Four you lot, great chemistry with all judges." A third said: "Better give Amanda that raise."

How much do the Britain's Got Talent judges get paid?

According to Hello! Magazine, in 2023, Alesha and Amanda are said to be paid a six-figure sum of £850,000 for appearing in the talent competition, while boss Simon Cowell, earns a seven-figure deal with reports stating he earns over £1.5 million per episode.

Bruno is reportedly paid slightly less however the exact number has not been revealed. It was repored that Amanda and Alesha were said to be unhappy about Bruno being offered the same salary initially.

How much do Ant and Dec earn for Britain's Got Talent?

It was reported in 2023 that Geordie duo Ant and Dec have signed a ‘golden handcuffs’ contract. The deal is said to be worth £40 million with ITV that spans up to three years.

Their deal with ITV means they are paid one giant sum of cash for all their telly work. Their shows, Britain’s Got Talent, I’m A Celebrity, Saturday Night Takeaway and Ant and Dec’s DNA Journey are all reportedly part of the eight-figure deal.

But the contract is said to come with a downfall as reportedly they are not allowed to work with any other broadcaster or streaming service due to the offer.
