Dancing On Ice 2019: Wes Nelson’s early exit revealed as pro partner spills on training?
DANCING ON ICE star Wes Nelson could be in for an early exit on the show this year after his pro skating partner, Vanessa Bauer, revealed his schedule is too tight to train as much as the other celebrities.
Dancing on Ice’s Vanessa reveals Wes hasn’t trained much
Dancing on Ice will be returning to ITV in January 2019 and the celebrities should be hard at work on the ice.
However, that hasn’t been the case for all the celebrities, specifically former Love Islander, Wes.
Wes’ professional partner on the show is Vanessa Bauer, and she was on This Morning today discussing the upcoming series.
Rochelle Humes asked her about rehearsals with Wes, and she revealed they haven’t had that much time to practise on the ice.
“You’ve got Love Island’s Wes Nelson this year, rehearsing hasn’t gone as well? Not as many dates as you’d like?” asked Rochelle.
Vanessa replied: “Well, rehearsals are going well whenever we’re on the ice training.”
“Yeah, so he’s very very ambitious, he’s very talented as well. He really wants to get far in this competition.
“But he’s so tight on his schedule. He has so many appearances everywhere. He is so high in demand, which is amazing for him.
“Has he taken a ten-day holiday?” asked Phillip Schofield.
“Yeah. He’s in Mauritius at the minute,” revealed Vanessa whilst laughing.
“On holiday, yeah,” she added.
“Oh, lovely,” commented Phillip said with a smile.
Rochelle interjected: “Does that worry you though?”
“Well, it does a little bit, but I’m really confident that we going to be able to catch up on this training,” answered Vanessa.
“He picks up everything so fast. He’s a very natural skater already,” finished the Dancing on Ice skater.
