When you're in the car it can be tough to keep the little ones entertained, especially if you're going on a long journey.

They find it hard to sit still, keep entertained and fill the time, but all that could be about to change. That's because a hack has been revealed showing how to make a little TV inside your car - and it won't cost you a penny.

Well, as long as you have a touchscreen to hand. In the video posted on X, a parent explains how to install the nifty gadget.

All you need is a touchscreen pad and a zip lock plastic bag - and you're away. Simply pop the touch screen into the bag and attach it to the head of the driver's or passenger's seat.

It really is that simple, and it leaves you in peace to enjoy your journey with no stress.

Since the trick was shared online, people haven't stopped talking about it. Some have dubbed it "genius".

One person said: "That's actually quite clever." Another chimed in with: "They won't get it dirty either."

A third wrote: "Oh sweet, I'm gonna save this one." Meanwhile, a fourth commented: "Now that's a life hack."

Some people didn't agree with it though, as they worried it may increase their kids' screentime. Though many admitted it was a super handy hint, some did voice their worries.

One person chimed in with: "Why don't they just look out the window? When I was a kid, we had car games spot the white car spot the red car."

Another suggested: "Instead of introducing children to nature, environment while travelling, you are trying to hook them to digital screen. Not appreciated."

A third wrote: "I love this! Now when my kids projectile vomit, the tablet will be one less thing I’ll need to clean!"

The idea sure has got a lot of people talking - no matter what their thoughts on the matter. It seems as though many are keen to give it a whirl during holiday season though.
