A crazed knifeman broke into the Bon Bon newsagent in Hackney
Abbas Solak was working behind the counter at Bon Bon newsagent in Hoxton, east London on October 8, when a desperate teenager ran into his shop to hide from attackers chasing him.
In a desperate bid to keep out his assailants, the teen pushed the door closed.

But the frenzied attackers managed to smash through the glass of the shop door.
Abbas rushed over to help, grabbing the teenager by the scruff of the neck and yanking him out of harm's way as the attackers forced the door open.
Wielding a knife and wearing a baseball cap, one of the attackers can be seen thrusting a dagger towards the pair.

If someone's life is threatened you have to do something. You have to be brave sometimes
But Abbas managed to close the door, forcing the attackers out.
The have-a-go hero, who has run the shop with his brother for 10 years, said: "If someone's life is threatened you have to do something. You have to be brave sometimes.
"I just didn't think about what could have happened."
Abbas said the teenager disappeared immediately afterwards while he phoned police to report the incident.

He said: "He just left when I was on the phone without even saying thank you to me.
"I thought about closing up the shop afterwards that night – but I had to work."
A Met Police spokesman said: "Detectives from Hackney are investigating an allegation of affray.
"A man entered a shop and was pursued by two other men, one of whom was armed with a knife."
So far, no arrests have been made.
