A Yodel delivery driver has been caught on CCTV throwing a customer's parcels over a six-foot gate, sparking outrage from the recipient.

The shocking footage shows the moment the driver casually hurls two large cardboard boxes onto Steph McIntosh's driveway, leaving her stunned.

The incident occurred on 9 September when McIntosh, 33, was at home watching TV.

She initially ignored a phone call, assuming it was a scam, but later discovered the packages when she noticed them lying on her driveway.

To her surprise, there had been no knock at the door or any notification from the driver about the delivery.

McIntosh reviewed her CCTV footage, which revealed the driver exiting his van and tossing the boxes over her gate without any attempt to deliver them properly.

The parcels contained items McIntosh had ordered and were left in plain sight, risking damage to the contents.

"I like to collect snow globes and if they were chucked over the top like that, I would've been really upset", she shared with Cornwall Live.

"I did an online chat and I wanted reassurance that it would never happen again. They wouldn't let me send an official complaint.

"I can imagine they're inundated with complaints if this is the way their drivers operate. I'm also liaising with the company who I purchased the items from who are dealing with Yodel directly to get their money back so they can refund me."

A Yodel spokesperson said: "The safe delivery of our parcels is our number one priority, and the overwhelming majority of our parcels are delivered correctly in the first instance.

"We are sorry that Ms McIntosh’s experience did not meet the high standards we strive for and we are taking appropriate measures to ensure that this does not happen again.”
