Uni students pick lock of mysterious door and make terrifying discovery
University students managed to pick the lock of a mysterious door in their bedroom, only to find a horror collection of pentagrams, candles and a skull.
University students were left distraught after a horrifying find was made in their bedroom once they had picked the lock of a mysterious door.
Moving out of their final year uni room, curiosity got the better of the students who had been unable to access a door in the flat as it was padlocked shut. But managing to pick it open before they packed up all their things led to a disturbing discovery which shocked Twitter/X users.
Social media user WagmanSam revealed the door had finally been opened, and inside were references to Harry Potter and a chilling collection of candles.
They wrote: "For context: in my final year uni room there has always been a padlocked door. Yesterday (my final day), we picked it open."
What they found inside was a decapitated rabbit toy, a plastic skull and several candles. Faux blood handprints were also seen on the wall alongside a quote from the Harry Potter series.
It read: "The chamber of secrets has been opened. Enemies of the heir, beware." While some users were initially horrified by the items found behind the door, a few were less-than impressed by the J.K. Rowling book references.
One wrote: "You have not been sleeping with that around all year my god." Another wrote: "The only real atrocity here is all that wasted space you could've converted for years. That Harry Potter line and plastic skull ain't fooling anybody."

Other users were fascinated by what took the original poster so long to pick the door open. "My only question is why it took so long to open it?," one user wrote, gaining 25,000 likes for their question. Another asked: "Why would you wait that long to open a door?"
Although it went unanswered, other users were relieved by the quote spotted on the wall. One user claimed: "I found it creepy until that Harry Potter cringe. You can rest easy."
Some found the Harry Potter quote hilarious as one person compared the room to "the Chamber of Secrets if you ordered it from Temu." Another wrote: "That's not creepy at all...ignore me while I make sure that I'm nowhere near that building thanks..."
