Duke of Kent health fears as he he forced to cancel royal engagements
THE Queen's cousin the Duke of Kent has cancelled his royal engagements after going down with a chest infection.

He is the second member of the Royal Family to pull out of royal duties this week.
Earlier this week, his sister, Princess Alexandra cancelled engagements after breaking her wrist in a fall.

Buckingham Palace said the Duke, who is 81, hoped to be back at work soon.
"On doctor's advice, the Duke of Kent has cancelled his engagements this week," a palace spokeswoman said.
The Duke has suffered bout of ill health over the past few years

The Duke, who was seventh in line to the throne of his grandfather George V when he was born, undertook 159 engagements in support of the Queen last year.
Like his sister Alexandra, 80, he has suffered bouts of ill health in the last few years but shows no signs of wanting to retire.
