Young violinist stunned after the Queen responds to her recital invitation
A SEVEN-year-old girl who invited the Queen to her violin recital was stunned to get a reply wishing her luck.
She was jumping up and down she was so excited
Leia Zhu from Whickham, Newcastle, wrote: “If you can come that would make me really happy!!! I do hope you are well and your doggies are being good.”
Within days, the child prodigy received a Palace reply saying the Queen would not be able to attend the concert at Hexham Abbey on September 23 but “hopes that you will have a happy and successful day”.
Leia’s mother, Yanhong Bi, 39, said: “She was jumping up and down she was so excited.”
