The name Iman also pays a touching tribute to the Royal Family, as Prince Hussein's younger sister is called Princess Iman bint Abdullah and King Abdullah's half-sister also has the name.

Prince Hussein and Princess Iman have an incredibly close bond, as he escorted her down the aisle when she married Jameel Alexander Thermiótis in March last year.

The Crown Prince and Princess Rajwa wed in a lavish ceremony in Jordan's capital Amman in June 2023, with Prince William, Princess Kate and Princess Beatrice all attending the celebrations.

Princess Iman bint Hussein is the first grandchild of Prince Hussein's parents, King Abdullah and Queen Rania of Jordan, who are sure to be delighted with the news.
